Although Dondino could not speak English until
the age of 12 he learned to communicate through
his singing and musical talents. English became possible
to learn and understand as he began to
mimic the english words to hundreds of songs.

Because of his struggles as a stranger in a foreign land
he understands the importance of reading, writing
and spelling. He also understands the importance
of books for children to begin a strong and
secure foundation for their future in a world less
tolerant than years past.

Dondino has made a mark in the entertainment world
and yet he has vowed that he will give back to society
through helping others.

Today he is contributing to many charities his musical
talents and time. In addition he has created a fun way to
learn to read, dream, and ignite imaginations through his
contributions to his partnership with Story Store Collection
bilingual and illustrated children’s picture books.
